Welcome to this week's edition of Ask Captain Dramatic.
Me: "Captain Dramatic, what important, painful lesson did you learn today that you would like to share with the other kids out there?"
CD: "Never try and keep your mom from spanking you by putting your hands behind you. You still get a spanking, and now my hands, and my butt hurt."
Disclaimer: Spanking is still legal in Nevada, and probably isn't as common place in this house as it needs to be judging by Captain Dramatics's mouth. I have a mouth too, and learned that lesson at about the same age as he did.

My dad says there is a direct connection between a child butt and brain and that you occasionally need to remind them. He said he learned while raising me that sometimes it is useless to tall or to ground, just spank and get it over with. as a parent now, I can see the wisdom.
