The Best Opening Paragraph I Have Read in a Long Time.
I came across an article today that I strongly suggest everyone read. It was written by Robert Kagan at the Washington Post. You can read the whole article here. On a side note, it contained the best opening paragraph I have read in an extremely long time.
And here I thought I was the only one who had that thought cross my mind more than once.
A front-page story in The Post last week suggested that the Bush administration has no backup plan in case the surge in Iraq doesn't work. I wonder if The Post and other newspapers have a backup plan in case it does.
