Friday Funny

Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in Antarctica - where do they go when they die?

Wonder no more!!!

It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life. The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintaining a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.

If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into and buried.

The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:

Freeze a jolly good fellow,
Freeze a jolly good fellow.

Then they kick him in the ice hole.

Had you going, didn't I?

I will probably offend everyone of you at least once, although I never intend to. Please take these for what they are. They are jokes. The world needs a bit more laughter.

I would love to hear your jokes as well. Feel free to email them to me, or leave them in the comments below. If I feature yours, I will ask for your website, so I can link back to you. :)

Friday Funny

It is near the end of the school year. The teacher has turned in her
grades. There is really nothing to do. All the kids are restless because
there is nothing to do and it is near the end of the day.

The teacher says, "Whoever answers the questions I ask first and
correctly can leave early today." Little Johnny says to himself, "Good, I want to get outta here. I'm smart and will answer the question".

The teacher asked, "Who said 'Four Score and Seven Years Ago'?" Before Johnny could open his mouth, Susie said, "Abraham Lincoln". The teacher said, "That's right Susie. You can go". Johnny was MAD. Susie answered first.

The teacher asked, "Who said, 'I Have a Dream'?" Before Johnny could open his mouth, Mary said, "Martin Luther King". The teacher said, "That's right Mary. You can go". Johnny was even MADDER than before. Mary answered first.

The teacher asked, "Who said 'Ask not, what your country can do for
you'?" Before Johnny could open his mouth, Nancy said, "John Kennedy". The teacher said, "That's right Nancy . You can go". Johnny was BOILING MAD. Nancy answered first.

Then the teacher turned her back, and Johnny said, "I wish these bitches would keep their mouths shut".

The teacher asked, "WHO SAID THAT?"

Johnny said, "TIGER WOODS! CAN I GO NOW?"

Ask Captain Dramatic

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Every morning, as I am heading for the front door on my way to work, I stop at Captain Dramatic's room to wake him for school. Millions of mom's do this around the world every day. I have done this myself for years. Most days, I stand in the doorway, yelling "Get up! I have to go to work!" followed by "Get up! You are going to make me late! You know I can't leave until you are in the shower, and I know you aren't going to fall back to sleep!" If that doesn't work I have to get Dad-E up early, and make him hound the child out of bed. Usually, I don't have to go that far.

Friday morning was different, and I had to share.

I opened the door to Captain Dramatic's room.

Me: Time to...

I stop mid-sentence as I notice his light is already on. He is sitting up in bed and he has begun singing:

CD: Wake me up before you go-go. Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo.

I couldn't help it. I started laughing, and so did he. He got up to hug me good bye.

Me: I had no idea you had even heard Wham before.
CD: What is Wham?
Me: Never mind. You are the cutest goof ball I have ever met.

It was a great start to my day, even if I had an old Wham song stuck in my head all day.

A conversation in our home lead to a new nick name for Dad-E. All three of us were in the kitchen, preparing dinner, setting the table, and probably a few others things.

CD: (hugging me suddenly) I love you mom.
Me: I love you too son.
Dad-E: (after a few seconds) What about me? What am I chopped liver?
CD: (without missing a beat) Nope! You are chopped steak. I like steak. I don't like liver.

Dad-E now gets birthday cards and father's day cards addressed to Chopped Steak.

Dear Ms. Davis,
I want to be very clear on my child's illustration. It is NOT of me on a dance pole on a stage in a strip joint. I work at Home Depot and had commented to my daughter how much money we made in the recent snowstorm. This drawing is of me selling a shovel.
